I can remember stu as a good friend of my dad sam McCarthy from Bristol when my dad stu Hugh patten Pete Jennings all used to race in the 70s and we're very close . I alway remembers when we visited stu and his then with Jen in Torquay a few times . I'm saddened to of learned of stu's death as I remember per this days when I was young going to kart meeting with my dad and all the rest of the gang . The last time I saw stu wa in 1990 at my dads funeral and came back to our house and we had a great chat about the old days and what he and my dad got upto . R.i.p. Stu
